The team behind Taxza

Last reviewed: 1 May 2026 · Based in Cape Town, South Africa

Taxza is run by a small editorial team that keeps the calculators aligned with current SARS rates and the guides aligned with the Income Tax Act, the Customs and Excise Act and the latest SARS interpretation notes. We treat every bracket change, UIF ceiling adjustment and Budget Review announcement as a release we have to ship — not as an annual chore.

Taxza Editorial Desk

  • Internal linking & glossary

Taxza Product

How we keep the numbers honest

  • Every calculator is regression-tested against worked examples from the SARS Budget Tax Pocket Guide before each tax-year rollover.
  • Every guide carries a "Last reviewed" date. If the date is more than 12 months old, we audit it.
  • We do not give individualised tax advice. For binding positions, we point readers to a registered SAIT, SAICA or SAIPA tax practitioner and to sars.gov.za.
  • Corrections are welcome — see our contact page.
